多くのバックルリングは19世紀中～後半に作られた錬鉄チェーンを使用しています。イタリアで暖炉の上にティーポットを吊るすのに使われていたもので、これを初めて目にした瞬間に惹きつけられ、バッグに取り入れたいと考えました。 この様な鉄の他にアルミ素材も取り入れ始めました。 ラフなレザーと光り輝くメタルのコントラストを作り出すために、レーザーでカットした丸型のハンドルを作り上げたのです。 それらはイタリアにある3世代前から続く老舗の工房で職人の手によって生み出されます。
