More than 120 years later, the Lafage family still heads the company. Today, Jean Marc Lafage, the sixth generation, heads the estate. Lafage has always kept pace with the times and has always prioritized quality. Until the mid 1990s, this region primarily produced mass produced wines, which lacked character.
