the wine is layered and complex
which gives a dry yet round and approachable style
so I suspect this bottle may have been slightly oxidized
and braised and grilled dishes – an obvious choice for grand dinners and for those seeking a Pessac-Léognan with both depth
The aroma and taste offer notes of rose
Opalie de Coutet, Bordeaux Blanc, 2023, 75cl Seasonal Tasting the wine is layered andMedium lemon gold colored, the 2010 Coutet is relatively evolved, revealing honey nut, ginger ale and baked peaches scents with touches of straw, fresh figs, quince paste and nutmeg. The palate is considerably more mature than when I last reviewed this wine a couple of years old, so I suspect this bottle may have been slightly oxidized, nevertheless it offers loads of nutty nuances accenting the dried fruits, finishing deliciously spicy.
