Ancient Afghan Seal Pendant stone rondelles Molded hematite colored glass nailThis is an ancient Scythian Seal depicting a dog (?) and a star. Believed to be from the Scythian Tribe (Sasanian Empire) of ancient Persia, 19th Century BC, this seal was found in Afghanistan. Worn as a pendant, this agate seal has a 5mm hole, a slight chip with lovely worn carving. One in my collection of 30 seals, many stones, including carnelian, agate, iron ore, and jasper.
