「 『The Moon Has Lost Her Memory』においてディアナ・テンプルトンは、これまで彼女が撮りためてきたものから選び出した写真を繋ぎ合わせていく。その中には１６年前にまで遡る写真もある。それらの写真は、T・S・エリオットの詩「風の夜の狂想曲」からとられた断章とともに編み上げられ、人間とその営みに眼差しを向ける夜更けの物思いとでもいうべきものとなる。

エリアス・カネッティの優れた紀行文「マラケシュの声」は僕の好きな本で、数年に一度それとなく読みかえしている。

どこから湧いてきたのだろうか。カラフルな衣装や奇抜な出で立ちの若者たちが、渋谷の街中に溢れていた。
