Magnifying the chambers reveal a world of druzy coating of crystal points, so fine they almost look like velvet. The chambers even have boytroidal lumps. Some of the blue stone has a transparency that looks like pond ice. Also referred to as a 'Thunder Egg', this geode, as with all my Dugways, is from the finest beds of geodes in Utah known as the Juab Formation. I buy these directly from the
