Rare CDV Photo Civil War Soldier Captain Daniel Clark 5th Maine - KIA In Virginia history BRADY CASEMAKER"Original CDV of Daniel Carleton Clark (Born May 14, 1841) Co. K, 5th Maine Volunteers, who was wounded in the Battle of Spotsylvania Courthouse* on May 10, 1864, and died of his wounds at Fredericksburg, Virginia, seven days later (May 17, 1864 3 days after his birthday). He's buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Portland, Maine. Listing pics #2 and #3, a photo of his gravestone and another example of this same portrait, signed by Clark, are provided here
