Boss Tweed? Civil War Era CDV of FIRE PUMPER "Americus" Firehouse #6 bride who was at Ford's TheaterOriginal CDV of a horse drawn fire pumper outside of Americus station #6. Location is not known, but this could be the Americus Fire Company No. 6, also known as the "Big Six", organized in part by William "Boss" Tweed, who became its foreman. If so, this is a very rare image. Overall in very good antique condition with some minor lifting of the albumen along a couple of the edges. Ive provided a scan and a cell phone photo. Shipping: Ground photo
