Fostex 260 punch in/out pcb 8251234 003 This is something I have

This is something I have never seen before its a guide roller but its fixed and has two wires running to it to two metal rods the purpose of which I am uncertain perhaps to sense a magnetic strip for reverse as ths was a bidirectional machine

but my machine here had a sticking motor which had been banged so did not see it spin as was broken down before had a chance to do a second test just thought I may note that

I often see these scratched or broken

This is the later 200 version but they both work the same

Teac Tascam motor used in many of the their machines removed from a working machine that was no longer needed
