A point of view Charcoal The colours I am usingI have drawn quinces in ink and in charcoal but on this occasion I wanted a burst of colour. The drawing process is one that I thoroughly enjoy, learning as I go. Above all though, it is the feel, the sound and sensation of creating. So this is a quince on tea light stand, the colours spoke and said where they wanted to go. This was drawn from life in the studio, part of my slightly obsessive relationship with these fruits.
