The chair was acquired from an estate in Philadelphia and had previously come from a corporate office in Philadelphia also. The chair has a Barrit Furniture Corporation label, which was presumably the dealer or procurement company that did the outfit for the office. The construction is notable with a bronze base (quite heavy)
