We acquired the piece from an estate in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and it is all original. The frame is tubular steel with lots of of patina, and the seat and back are black leather. We have intentionally left the piece in its as found condition as to preserve its history. It is an amazing example from the early Bauhaus period that is also an excellent investment.
