A Recorder on his pilgrimage Finish:Single St Ethelburga-the-Virgin within Bishopsgate'A Recorder on his pilgrimage', 1770. A man of honour and a gentleman Harley'. The Recorder of London, James Eyre, outside Guildhall. He is dressed in wig and gown, but bare footed and without breeches and in his hand he carries a petition for place or pension.
