1968 MGC GT Riviera Silver Blue Metallic mgb This illustration shows a 1976Many have described the MGC as one of the most controversial sports cars ever produced in Abingdon. Originally designed to replace sales of the Austin Healey 3000, a 3 litre engine was show horned into the standard MGB bodyshell. ThIs required major modifications to the engine bay and the front suspension was modified to incorporate torsion bars rather than the MGBs coil springs. Launched in 1967, the car was available as a roadster and a GT. Sadly
