Rub strips are designed to protect the blade when used against the side of a canoe. This set includes the center strip and 2 sides with a peel and stick adhesive as well as instructions on how to apply. This is a 3M product called Safety Walk that we have been using for years as our rub strips on KIALOA steering paddles. Requires that you trim to fit the shape of your paddle.
